SCOS Potting Party

The SCOS Annual Orchid Re-Potting Party is a fun and free event for all members who want to learn orchid cultivation, potting & mounting techniques; share their knowledge and get to know other orchid growers.

D&D Flowers + Tiny Jungle Spring Open House / SFOS Repotting Clinic

Plants for Sale include various orchid species from Paphiopedilums, Cattleyas, Masdevallias and more. Open House 9 – 3.

SFOS Repotting Demonstration and Clinic to be held by Tom Perlite on Saturday and Florence Inserto on Sunday. Bring your plants for repotting and learn how to properly repot and divide your orchids. Repotting Clinic 11 – 1.

Bark and pots will be provided at a nominal price to cover the costs.

Please drive safely. Limited street parking so please car pool. Do not park within the chain link fence.

Re-Potting Party

The Sonoma County Orchid Societies Annual Potting and Re-Potting Party is a fun and free event for all members who want to learn orchid cultivation, potting & mounting techniques; share their knowledge and get to know other orchid growers.

  • Please bring a finger food to share. Water and soft drinks will be provided by the Society.
  • Bring plants you need help repotting, overgrown monstrosities you want to share pieces of, or even plants you’d like to give to a new home.
  • Bring supplies such as pots of all sizes (or plastic bags if you would rather repot at home), cork slabs, wood slat baskets, stakes, plant ties, plant labels, cutting shears, #2 pencil, etc. In other words, bring whatever you’ll need (except bark) to pot up your treasures.
  • The Society will supply medium and fine bark.
  • Pre-order orchid supplies for delivery to the Re-potting Party. Available supplies and order information is on page 10 of the July Newsletter or under Member Resources on the SCOS website.
